Colin Cousins, MusBac, MDv
Colin Cousins is a graduate of McMaster Divinity College with the degree Master of Divinity, and is an ordained Pastoral Counselling Minister with the Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec (formerly BCOQ). His counselling training took place at the Community Counselling Centre in Hamilton, where he worked as a counselling intern, associate supervisor and contract counsellor, operating under the CAPPE model. Colin is a clinical member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists (OSP) and has been an EAP counsellor for over a decade.
Colin has been a psychotherapist for over 20 years and uses a variety of modalities, including person centered, and short-term brief counselling and long term in-depth therapy. He works with individuals and couples presenting personal, emotional and workplace problems, as well as communication, marriage and separation / divorce issues. As a pastoral counsellor, Colin provides therapy and support to those with issues of faith and spirituality and issues with institutional religion.
